I just read that John was planning something special for February.  I hope I don't get in his way.

I know it's still a month and a half away but I was thinking how I'd like to meet up with some of my friends for a late lunch at the Beijing Bistro on the Sunday afternoon of fifteen February.  I say late lunch because it's between two and three hours away for me and I wouldn't leave until after church around noon.  That would put the late lunch at around fifteen hundred in the afternoon.  Should be a light crowd by then.

Anyone else interested?

Willow, I got no problem with this. What I  had in mind will wait another month, in fact, might work better then.  Is the Bristol open then?

If anyone is welcome, I might like a short ride and lunch next month...I got some more stuff to button up on the Turbo Valkyrie but assuming I got it all ready to ride, can I come?

Moodyvalk, any one is welcome to any of our rides, or meetups, even people who bring minivans! You are most surely invited, a turbo Valkyrie I would like to see. This FFR is still in the air, but I hope to nail it down this week.

John, I didn't really mean to hijack your FFR for February.  I'll be celebrating on 15 February and had it in my heart to share with a few of my friends.  I'll be turning sixty-four on that day and chose the Bejing Bistro because I had started out for the Bistro once before and didn't quite get there.  With the birthday I'll also be celebrating twenty-one months of extended life.  I look forward to whatever we can share with a few friends.

Carl,

There is no hijack here! cooldude I can't think of a better reason to get together angel and quite frankly, of all the people you could have shared this milestone with to chose this group to share it with, well it is an honor for us! coolsmiley I always enjoy seeing you and visiting with you, Smiley well most of the time, 2funny!

The FFR is not a set in stone day or time, I always try and accommodate and work with the group. My reason for questioning it on fb was no one had responded what they wanted to do, I was just trying to get a feel for everyone ideas about it. I really enjoyed the food at the Bistro Evil and have looked forward to returning there for sometime! Cool By the way no detours this time! tickedoff You are the guest of honor!! Cheesy Now where did I put that swat board. Shocked

Moodyvalk, sorry to here that! Yes, we try together at least once a month, usually on the third Saturday of the month. This month was a special day and time, which we also try and do sometimes. Keep in touch we always posts our get togethers.

I saw the forecast for Sunday.  They're giving us a 60% chance of snow.

It's 150 miles down I-35 for me to El Dorado.  I'll check the radar Sunday morning.  If there's snow in the area I won't make the trip.  If there's no snow on the radar I'll plan to be there.
