There are just 2 oval Phillips screws (5mmx12mm) holding on the trim ring.
I think their position should be 4 oclock and 8 oclock...
dont mess with the 2 headlight lens adjustment screws..
Its a tight fit and could need a slight bit of help to come off. I sprayed silicone spray, cover up the fender and let it soak.
Update
suggested by JS "Pull the bottom out first and lift slightly"
I heave gently used a plastic glass trim tool to separate the trim ring from the headlight bucket.
Be careful not to damage either component.
once off, make sure to clean up and use silicone spray to repel moisture..
hope this helps.
J.

Pull the bottom out first and lift slightly, the top of the ring has a small lip on it which you'll see once it's off. If it's been on there for a long time, it can be a bit sticky to pop it loose at first.

Yes sir it's been there a long time
and welded together with grime, dirt and bugs.

After wrestling off the headlight rim off of the headlight case you need only to pry the three tabs that hold the chrome ring onto the headlight unit to remove it. Put the tri-bar in place and then reinstall the chrome ring onto the headlight unit by pressing the three tabs back into place. I really like the way they look.
