After a 3 or 4 week hibernation I uncovered her and let her run for about 20 minutes.  I had the petcock turned off and have a solenoid inline.  I let her run out of gas before puttin' her up .....pulled the fuse on the solenoid too.

After running for awhile yesterday there was a small puddle of fuel on both heads under each intake.

Hope this job is as simple as it looks.

original o-rings?
could just be the o-ring sealant leaking out from the long idle hot condition.
next time running, a vacuum leak is indicated by an up and down idle.

Spidy , Get the new O-rings first. Loosen the (hose) clamp above the runner and loosen both bolts and then remove. Lift the runner up and remove the O-ring . Replace and if needed use a touch of stick-um (technical term) to hold O-ring id place. Set runner down and make sure it is flat . replace bolts and torque to specks. tighten clamp . Repeat five times (but on the other runners)Replacing the same one 6 times will not work.

Go to a local hydraulic supply and get O rings. Size is a #123 and buy Viton material. You won't have to do this repair again.

At this price, they weren't Viton, but you have plenty to change them out again.

Yeah that's where I have been getting them. I thought if I could get 25 sets for $20 or so I'd never need any more.

Is it possible your fuel rail o-rings dried out and contributed to the puddles you observed?  ???

In my experience, once the fuel rail o-rings are bathed in gas they will swell and stop  leaking after about 12 to 24 hrs. They won't leak fuel again until the bike remains idle for an extended period of time.

It's a good idea to change the O-rings but it will also give you that appearance when the screws work loose a bit.
