I know there's been a lot of discussion about this previously, but as a novice could I just ask would it be possible to simply swap out my Valkrie pumpkin for a good working GL 1500 gold wing's?  Reason being, as you may know, there's like 10 Gold wing 1500 pumpkins on eBay – ranging in price from $50-$350 – but there's virtually no Valkyrie final drives for sale.  Apparently the splines for those two bikes are the same, but I was just wondering if the entire unit could simply be swapped--Has anybody tried it?  That's my question.  Thanks.

Search "valkyrie differential" on ebay and find three from the same salvage place.

The wing one won't work no how no way.

Fort Walton Beach, Florida I'm a simple man, I like pretty, dark haired woman and breakfast food.

You might have better results posting your question on the 1500 Tech Board.

I can't help about the shape I'm in
I can't sing, I ain't pretty and my legs are thin
But don't ask me what I think of you
I might not give the answer that you want me to

How could there be a better answer unless someone sends him one?
