Not having much luck with the Search lately.  I know I saw a thread on this subject recently but can't find it.  So can anyone tell me if 1) there are replacement bearings/races for the steering neck other than OEM Honda  2)  what the part number(s) for them is 3) do the OEM Honda bearings come with the races?  TIA Stan

All bearings come with new races.

The bearings in the steer head have a # on them, any good bearing place can get you a replacement bearing.   I've never tried it on a part # for a replacement.   Ya might get the part # for the EOM and call a bearing place to see if they can interchange it.

I never looked in http://www.jkozloski.com/generic_parts.htm here for a replacement, so take a look 1st.    Also save this link it is worth it's weight in Gold.    I've used it many many many times.

I just replaced mine.   Easiest way to remove the lower race is to weld a short bead on it.  It'll drop right outa there.
