I have a '99 Valk and often forget the flashers on. What i did is adding a 4 led strip on the dash. to do this you need two diodes and leds.That's it. Whit the diodes you only need one set of leds. The leds reflects in the windshield and you can't forget to turn flasher off. I will see how it is at night as soon i can go on the road.It is winter here

I never have a problem at night, it's daylight I can barely see the flasher in.  

Except when I need to warn traffic of my intentions at intersections, I am going back to arm signals (as my brain leaks down due to age  Grin).

Good idea though.  If excessively bright at night, they could just be covered up.
