Why would anyone shave a cow like that?

I will be heading towards the airport to get the big bird back home - 5 weeks are DONE BABY!  I sure hope Hurricane Bill doesn't make for too rough a flight on Monday across the big pond.  Sunday, I will be going on my never ending search for the perfect Fish and Chips in London.  Don't know, may go check out the RAF musuem again - not sure yet.

BAD hitch this time over.  Highs was something caught my eye and there were two yellow/black BRP Can Am Spyders at the street corner.  Lows were really LOW though.

We lost one of our rigs (went to E.G.).  That means revenue was cut in half and I had to have a "night of the long knives" with 8 of my lads.  It SUCKS to have to call a lad and tell him his job just became redundant and no more paycheck after 15 days after they all worked their guts out for the last 2 1/2 years here in Angola.  Major SUCK factor!!!!!! Undecided  :'( Undecided

Like they added an additional name to the list yesterday and I had to contact him this morning....This is what I got back from him.

"Hello Warren,
Thanks for the call and the mail, actually your call moved me to tears this morning.I had hoped to serve in any capacity but am glad I did a good job for SPERRY and will be highly honored if am asked to come and give my best to ensure SPERRY is ranked the best in the oil field, even regardless if am a SDL or MWD employee.I will miss you all,the advice, support and most of all believing in me.Have a wonderful and a blessed day."

Like I said, major SUCK factor....And for anyone who knows me, you can imagine how much I enjoyed these phone calls.

Well, heading out tomorrow, lay over in the UK and then back to the US of A baby!!!!

Get Traveler ready to head towards Minnesota (you know change the oil and check the tire pressure) and then Thursday - BLAST OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Come party in Yankeeland with us!!!!! Whooooo-Hooooooo!
