Nice repost there Mike. Devil's Tower was fogged in when we went there several years ago.  Had to wait at the base for a couple of hours so we would get to see the top.

Me and Ross went by there after a day of riding. I never got any closer than
that, we were headed to a motel in Deadwood as one step on the way home...
