I'm in for both the days. How about Salt Lick BBQ or we can do Cranky Frank's in Fredericksburg?

Lot of work to do on the little house but might be able to get away for a while. I need a brake, and there is no better way to get it. Salt lick sounds good.

Okie - Dokie Boys & Girls , where can all meet up at and about what time ???  We usually meet up at the Valero gas station on Hwy. 46 ( about 4 miles from 281North ) about 9:00ish if we were riding to Blanco for Brunch mornings  .... If we'really riding out towards the Salt Lick , where do we all meet , what time , which way are we going and where are we going for COFFEE ????   I had been thinking about sometime going by Mac & Ernie's Goat Burger Restraunte in Tarpley sometime for Lunch if we ever ride out in that direction , Cranky Frank's sounds good or anywhere , Let's  do it !!!!!  .... Thanks  the Old Geezer  crazy2

Hey Boys!
I'm in if ya'll are heading to Driftwood towards the afternoon tomorrow. My mornings pretty booked up. But I can be KSU by noon and meet ya'll at the Salt Lick by 2 tmw.

Other than Salt Lick, have ya'll ever ventured to Buchanan Dam to Reverend Jim's Dam Pub? They have an AWESOME burger. And the ride and the view (I'm talking bout the dam) ain't so bad either!

Give me more specifics. Hope to see ya'll this weekend.

If I miss ya'll, look for two handsome Valkyries (blue and cream and Scarlett and cream...one with a HOT Centex Girl!  coolsmiley) at any of the nearby wineries! Cuz what's better than BBQ in TX, but BOOZE!?!?!

That's not a bad idea either.

So here are the routes for 2 rides I had done sometime last year. Both of them are 3+ hour rides with on the back roads.

Salt Lick BBQ - http://goo.gl/maps/0Q1wc

Llano and Buchanan Dam - http://goo.gl/maps/sxDEr

BTW...Salt Lick BBQ is cash only.

Yeah, they take plastic....at the ATM machine. LOL. but otherwise only cash. It's a sign of fine dining in Texas. Beware of any food establishment that takes credit cards. YUCK! LOL

Me and (Mrs. Geezer) Lisa will go for coffee with very lite breakfast somewhere 1st. she has to have her cup's of Joe to function Cheesy , then we can go riding for a while and depending on which direction my nose is pointing I'll decide which place ..... Something to think about  uglystupid2... Thanks the Geezer  crazy2

It's always fun cruising the back roads of Hill Country on a sunny day as long as there are no frickin' DEERS!!!
