I'm putting new exhaust gaskets in the left side after removing the exhaust to get wheel off ( I now know I didn't need too but I'm new to the Valkyrie)
Anyway, I noticed there is a somewhat rolled edge on 1 side of the copper exhaust gasket. By the looks of the old smashed one I'm guessing that side goes in to the head.
Looking for conformation on the direction to insert the new header gasket.
Thanks

makes no difference........just don't try to tighten it down all at once you will break the header bolts. Snug it up and repeat after every ride until the gaskets are squished all the way down

Thanks much for the quick response. I thought I might have a beer while waiting for a response but I only got 1/2 of it down. And back to work I go
