1998 Tourer w/ 33,000miles. Common symptoms ( a little stumble a low acceleration, didn't feel smooth to me.., but runs great on the open road). Tried Techron and SeaFoam... no good.
Just removed Carb assembly ( a bit of a process),  disassembled and inspected about as far as I want to go.
-Diaphragm piston
-Float Bowls & Float Valve
-Main Jet Holder & Main Jet
-Slow Jets
(By the way... Everything was remarkable clean inside upon disassembly!! Smiley
I have to say, it was a bit "anti-climatic".
Slow Jets were clean and not plugged.   But I plan to replace from stock #35 to one step up to #38's.
Anything Else I Should Look For or Replace when Ordering Parts?    Thanks

Have you done a spark plug analysis?

It they and the carbs are ok look for an air leak into the intake track after the carbs.
Probably a good idea to replace the intake o-rings anyway.

Recently it's been discussed, that while your there, you might as well swap out the float valves.

I just changed some and the difference in spring bonce was significant.  Shocked

Quick Update:  Just sprayed a little shot of Carb Cleaner in each slow jet housing of the carb.... got a little "debri" (very fine) came out of each opening.
Although the slow jets themselves were clean.

Hook#3287 ...dually noted:  I will consider replacing the Float Valves - Thanks

Is the Lady de-smogged? If so check all caps for air leaks, if not check all vacuum hoses (read replace). Old and cracked air-cut hoses in particular can cause the symptoms you have described.  The intake o-rings are also a good suggestion, easy and cheap to do since you have it apart.
