That is just what I was looking for! What size stock and hole locations if you don't mind. Thanks

I'll take some  better pictures when I get home and post them. the only irreversible part of this install is one hole in the passenger armrest. A small piece of flat aluminum flat stock metal. (3) M6 screws 2 inches long these need to be flat screws that can be countersunk , (1) lock washer (1) nut and (1) trim screw and the cup holder is all you need.

Dennis (Trout Dude) is the one that gave me all the info. He used a chrome cruiser caddy for his which looks very good.

I used the barefoot willies cause it's black and I like the way it blends in with my bike and it comes with a can koozie. It's the only one I found that will fit a large soft drink cup, my wife's coffee cup and can use the koozie to keep cans and water bottles from flopping around and getting blown out by the wind.

Remove the arm rest and Remove both hinge screws and mark on flat stock. The hinge screws have nuts on them. Drill and counter sink the screw holes and mount the flat stock. There is no need to cut or modify the trunk but if you don't countersink the screws they will hit and not allow the trunk to close

Drill a hole and countersink it in the bottom of the cup holder and line it up with the arm rest use it to mark the flat stock and drill and bolt it and then drill the cup holder and run a screw into the arm rest

Here is Dennis's in chrome

nice idea.  How do you think the screw into the plastic armrest/speaker area will hold up staying put?  I would be worried about it coming loose and falling off over time maybe if not bolted from the inside somehow??

Also,  one bad thing is if you have the water bottle, etc. in there when you open the trunk,  doesn't the water bottle possibly falling forward hitting your side saddlebags cracking/chipping the paint or worse,  cracking the fiberglass lid of the side saddlebags?

I just have 2 barefoot willies, one mounted on each handlebar.  Passenger taps me on the shoulder if she wants a drink and I oblidge giving it to her when safe to do on a straight road where one hand, usually my left hand on handlebar,  right hand handing her the drink, works for me.

The bolt on the bottom holds it real good the screw in the arm rest is just extra to cut down on vibration I did put some silicone to help hold it and keep it from backing out. I doubt a water bottle will damage anything but I am worried about her metal  travel coffee cup just have to make sure it's empty when I open the trunk

Yeah I dont think I would put the screw into the speaker pod as that is not a  move that can be reversed but that is just me. as long as the little lady is happy is guess.

I first did mine in 2006 and it's been there sense then with no problems. I added the extra support to the speaker cover because it vibrated to bad without it. I added it the same day in 2006 when I first put the cup holder on. It's been a great addition for the wife and myself. When i ride by myself some times i will use mine and the one in the back.
