BLUB, BLUB, BLUB. In over my head. crazy2
Recap:   building my Valkyrie from assembled parts. In other words, from scratch. Parts garnered from all over the country. Coast to coast. Been quite the journey/ undertaking. Yes, you may call me insane. Cheesy

Which brings us to the reason for this post: wiring. Yes, I have a wiring diagram. Several actually. The problem seems to be that there are connectors that do not match the proper connectors. I have the connectors from the handlebar
(clutch side) with a large green connector and nothing to connect it to. I will not splice wires. Its gotta be correct or not at all. I have a harness that has that and more. Also connectors that do not match up to anything. Remember now, I have no clue as to how it is supposed to go together I have 2 main wire harnesses. One is probably from the model with the dual headlights and the other from the standard model.
Is there any hope / future for this situation? I am too far along for this to end here. Heck, it is just a machine with wiring. Surely someone out there has a solution. I am not opposed to getting another harness, but it would just be a shot in the dark.
What dou you think? Don't hold back, I can take it. Come on! Grin

Perhaps you want to ask yourself "Self? Am I going to build an Interstate or a Stardard/Tourer?" It sounds like you have wiring harnesses for both. If you don't know how to answer that question then you best Google "Valkyrie Interstate" and take particular notice of the fairing, radiator pods and trunk. If you want to go that route then be prepared to spend some big bucks for those exact items and more, such as a radio, antenna etc. If not then the decision is a bit easier as to whether you want the hard bags or not. Either way, you need to select the correct wiring harness. Do you have any of these parts yet? Do you have a separate spedo and tach?
