Has anyone ever tried rebuilding a final drive ?javascript:void(0); Would it be much different then setting up gears on 4wd? Just pulled mine, and my "mechanic" may have skipped a step. Pinion is good but drive and driven spines are toast. Getting tired of fixing stuff that other "qualified" people are paid to do.

Sorry for the rant, Just been fixing a lot of stuff lately.

Just went into the archives and found a wealth of information.
Should have looked there first. Will be headed for the local trike guy to see if he has any wing things. It is unbelievable the amount of combined knowledge this forum has to offer!

If you are going to shop trike shops, you might look for a Valkyrie one, that's the best source out there for  a used good one.

Tiz done.  found goldwing parts and two valks for sale in Pennock Mn. population 50 maybe. (one exceptional bumble bee he claims has only 4600 miles. ) The other, a yellow and cream He thought he had sold. someone from Mankato?  Did some cleaning and pressing and waiting for parts... seals, dampners, orings, grease, moly. I think things went pretty smooth. We'll see when the snow melts. Fantastic info gleaned from hubcapsc's posts back in 2012. Thanks to Michael for offer to help, Will see you Tomorrow for lunch.
