What is it worth? I am considering selling the one that came with my '98 Tourer.

Just trying to ask a fair price. The local Valkyrie/Goldwing mechanic said they are in demand because they are no longer made, but he didn't seem to have an opinion on the value.

Would it be hard to uninstall?

Thanks for any opinions.

Mike,
They go for anywhere between $400-$650, depending on the condition and if all the extras are included, like the antennae, wiring etc... You see them from time to time on EBAY and even here on the Classified board. If you want to give a fellow VRCC member a real deal though, I could be interested as my Interstate does not have the CB.
Thanks alot,

Was a CB offered by Honda on the Tourer?

buffalobill, if I sell, I will give you first dibbs. Condition looks great and I guess everything is on bike. There is a "talk" button near the back seat. No head set, though.

If it was on a tourer, it would be the Clarion add on Honda unit.  That is NOT the radio that fits into the IS system.

There was one of them on my bike when I got it, I sold it for $450 I think... when I mentioned I had
it people flocked to me... I took notes on its removal.

I didn't want it, I couldn't imagine me riding around talking on a CB... now that I've been on some
VRCC group rides, I see the utility in the leader and the last guy being able to communicate. Usually
I'm eminently qualified to be the last guy, a CB would make it even more so  uglystupid2 but it is
gone now...

The following picture is pretty big, but the VRCC web site scales it or something, right click on it
and you should be able to view it full size...
