For those that might be curious as to what the Ragnar Cut will do, or, how it sounds...here's a before and after video.

Before Ragnar Cut (piggies had been cut and the rear baffles had been drilled)......

Honda Valkyrie - LED turn and tag light modificationspowered by Aeva

And after the Ragnar Cut (rear baffles have been removed)......

Honda Valkyrie - after Ragnar Cutpowered by Aeva

You may not get a full sense of just how big a change that the Ragnar Cut provides listening to the two videos, but it IS a big change.  It is deeper, louder, and more rumbly sounding.  If you want to go Harley Huntin' on the cheap, this mod will do it for you.

If I understand it correctly, cut piggies, you won't need to shim.  Cut piggies and rear baffles drilled, you won't need to shim.  Ragnar cut, you won't need to shim.

Cut piggies & rear baffles drilled  +  drilling the front baffles, yes, you need to shim.

Ragnar Cut  +  drilling the front baffles, yes, you need to shim.

I could be wrong, but the way I understand it is.....you don't need to shim unless you've drilled the front set of baffles.
