I got a set of Beetle bags and I tried to mount them but they won't fit because I have Super Trapp exhaust on my bike, so I'm going back to the stock exhaust, when I bought the bike the Super Trapps were on it, my question is when I go back to stock do I have to reject the carbs?
Thank you for help

Steve this is posted in the 180-0 tech board I think you may have a 1500 if it has carbs.

That is a question the general public here can not answer correctly just by reading your post.

I had Super Trapps on MGM twice.    1st time I did not have to rejet.

The 2nd set I mounted them, it needed to be rejetted real bad.

Put the stock pipes on it, and take numerous readings of the plugs.

If they are not a nice light tan/gray color after a good aggressive ride, yes, you will need to rejet.

Read the plugs out on the highway if possible.     Run it in the 70 to 90 area, don't get a costly slip of paper doing this.

Run it for a couple of miles at speed, pull the clutch in, shut the key off and put the transmission in neutral.   Roll to a stop, with the dead engine.    Pull a couple or 3 plugs and check for the light tan/grayish color on the plugs.

Here is a link to reading plugs.
