Switch from Super Trapp's pipes to OEM

I'm changing my 1997 Standard into a sole ride with a Woodys fairing and Beetle bags, the problem I had was the Beetle bags would not fit with the Super Trapp pipes so I want back to the OEM pipes and I got to say I think it looks better and I really like the sound. My question is do I need to rejet after putting on the pipes, the mechanic thgat put the pipes on rev it up and then rode it, he has done most of the woek on my Valk so he knows my bike well and he feels that I don't have to do anything, he said that it seem to pull harder then it did with the Super Trapps and i have to agree, there was a lot of cracking and popping when I was slowing down in grear, with the OEM's on that has gone away.
I think I may have answered my own question but I'm the type of person that likes to double check everything, and what better place to ask then here.
Thank you for any and all help.

The back pressure on after market pipes are more then likely different, so when you put the OEM's back on the pressure comes up to spec. there by bringing your horsepower back to where it should be....as for the popping and crackling, the oem pipes are designed to surpress that, it's still going on, you just can't hear it anymore...I must say the first time I heard the Super Trapp's on a Valk, I chased the guy down just to find out what kind of pipes they were, great sound, but I thought they took away from the looks of the bike, being short and that trombone look.

Soooo, are your trapps for sale? I'd be interested if the price is right
