Okay folks here is what I was working on for March, if people are interested!! This will be different as it will be an evening dinner at 5 pm, not our usual lunch time( they are not open at lunch), so riding in will be your option. I will be caging it! The dinner will take approximately 2 hours, it is not fast food, so popping in and popping out will not probably be an option. I have not been to this place, but have heard good things about it. I thought it would be different and fun, something of a change of pace.

The location is Courtney's Place in Toronto, Ks.
5 pm, March 21st

www.courtneysplaces.com

This is a small Italian Place that is run by a couple in an out of the way location, but kind of centrally located. Having talked with the owner there are some things you should know up front! Payment is cash or check, no cards of any type! It was explained to me that an average persons bill runs 35-40 per person, including a 20% tip figured in for a group over six. The explanation of the bill was an appetizer, a dinner, a dessert, and a drink(alcoholic).  You can look at the menu on line and see what everything runs and kind of plan from there. I told them we would probably be looking at pasta dinners, rather than pizza. $35-40 seems a bit much to me, but I know I won't be drinking and can probably do this for a lot less. They just wanted us to know so we are not surprised and prepared to pay for it! If we make a commitment to reservations we pay for them no matter if they show or not! I did make a reservation for 15-20 I have till that week to change it! Knowing how my schedule works I will be looking at a layoff to make this.

So the question is do you want to do this or something else? If I get no responses I will cancel do to lack of interest. If you want to do something else let me know, asap!

John

Okay I am taking a final count to give the owners tomorrow, Saturday for next Saturday. We have 20 reservations it is apparent we need to reduce this and I want them to have time to fill them. That being said here is my count: Whistler's 2, Fette's 2, Coltrane's 2, Hunsinger's 3 for a total of 9. Let me know by 3 pm tomorrow if this is correct, if anyone else is coming, or we need to reduce.

Thanks,

John
