Who told you "no" about what?  If they told you no because you're talking about a Valk, they just didn't know that we've been doing it for years.

The '06 & later spoilers are different, but I think it's just a styling issue, and the spoiler you're interested in will fit just fine.  However, by the time you get it painted, the OEM ones may be about the same price.

In the PIC in the above post of my Interstate, I picked a color that was very close to the Interstate accent color, and no one has ever commented.  I would have preferred to go with the green, but no 1800 Wings ever came in that color.

I just installed the new style spoiler on my new Wing, but I think the old style spoiler would fit it just fine also, except it isn't available in pearl white.

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

I saw a I/S for sale last week in MI that had a huge ass spoiler looking thing behind the backrest that had 2 speakers mounted in it! Ugly! No way you could put a rack up there.

I bought one from that ebay seller a year or two back. Fits just fine and the wiring is pretty easy. The clear lens brake light is great as you don't have a red strip across the top of your trunk, and it still works good as new. Easy to paint up either by yourself or a local painter. All up mine was less than half the cost of the OEM painted and installed.

He also used to sell the 1800 Voltmeter which looks great mounted in the left pod.

got mine from Motor 55 and had to do a bit of sanding to smooth the joint where the upper and lower sections are jointed. Had the guys at work paint it for me...Looks great and total cost about $123 with shipping.  I pulled the chrome rack off and plugged the holes with the plastic caps that are used to clip the side panels inside the car . Sanded them smooth and painted them and they look ok and give me the flexibility to pull the plugs and add the rack back on if I need added storage, which I doubt I will ever need since I have not used the trunk rack yet
