Hi all, picked up an 2001 Interstate in the fall. Would like to get some highway pegs but have no idea what to get. Looked at the Kurakyn Site but would like some suggestions from owners. Appreciate any feedback. Still 2 1/2 months to go before we can ride up here.

I like the kurayken with the offset. You can get them adjusted to just the right spot for you.

I just bought the Kuryakyn 4041's I haven't installed them yet. They look like they would be extremely comfortable but I am a little concerned about the size. They seem really big for hwy pegs and I don't want them to look odd on my 97 Standard. I have asked about it on here, just waiting on an answer.

Be sure you get answers from I/S owners. The horizontal bar under the cam covers has a welded scoop that restricts how highway pegs can be mounted.

How long are your legs?  As mentioned, there is a bar on the bottom of the engine guard on an IS.  The kuryakyn mounts I have on mine have to go down low, because of how short my legs are.  If mine didn't have any when I got it, I would have gotten the kuryakyn's with the long offset, and placed them up on the vertical bar of the guard.

My I/S came with the Kury highway pegs already installed.  coolsmiley Don't know what the model# is but I played with them about 3 months to find that sweet spot.  I'm 6' 2" tall with a 32" inseam. On long trips I've  been known to use all the pegs on my I/S. And not knowing fer sure I believe mine came with the long offsets. The mounts are on the very outside of the curve on the crash bars. Lets just say if I EVER get another Valkyrie it WILL have Kury highway pegs on it!  cooldude And if I was selling stuff off of my Phatt Ghurl the Kurys WOULD be amongst the last to go.  Roll Eyes RIDE SAFE.

Hey, neighbor!

Kury 3" offsets. Bolt on just behind the air scoops on the horizontal lower guard support. Cheapies on the upright may get replaced this year.

I REALLY like my Mick-O-Pegs on my Standard.  I have Kuryakyn highway pegs mounted to the engine guards that I moved multiple times to find the best location, and was still never completely satisfied.  I find the Mick-O-Pegs to be much more comfortable.

Mick-O-Pegs on my I/S and XF6 canted Floorboards on my 98 Std.
Both are more expensive than the Kurys, but both are high quality items that give superb comfort and are unique solutions, and are made by VRCC members.
