Looking for a replacement for this.  It was buggered from the previous owner.  Can find lots of the Kury clamps, but they do not fit it this application - the tab "ears" are too long.  These things are pretty heavy duty - uses a 1/2" x 14tpi allen bolt recessed, and the left side bolt is left hand threads; took me a couple days to figure that part out... 2funny

Any ideas?

TIA

Looks very similar to the one Rivco made for their foot pegs.

Thanks for the response TJ.
Close, but no cigar.
If it was by Rivco, it ain't now.  And nothing used on ebay.
A shame, as it is twice the thickness of the Kury type.
Hopefully someone else has an idea?

That is similar to a Kuryakyn Quick Clamp (as you know).  Same hinged pivot, but different peg mount.  Need 1 1/8" on the guards.  With the quick clamp, depending on reach/inseam, the peg mount can go behind or ahead of the guard. They are pretty tough.

I would expect those are one extremely hard to find item.  Particularly hard since standard half inch bolts are either 13 or 20 threads per inch and on rare occasions an antique 12 thread per inch might show up.  In my extensive career as a machinist, have never seen a 1/2 x 14tpi.   crazy2

OOPS.
I counted threads when working yesterday, as my handy dandy thread count gizmo wandered off again.  I have about 4 of them somewhere...
Went to Fastenal today trying to find some grade 8 sockets, and the young miss corrected my counting.
2x13TPI it is.
Still don't know who makes/made the thing though...

No problem with the durability of the Kurys.  I have half a dozen of these on different bikes.  But the ones I have put the peg mount real close to the inside edge of the crash bar; the Kury's aren't configured to do that.  I've got a box of footpeg hardware, and this combo gets the pegs where I want.

Sigh.
