I just got off the phone with Wayne and we both agree to cancel the ride this weekend. I'm going to reschedule for March 21st and 22nd. Looks like it's going to rain Friday, Saturday and Sunday. So cancel your reservations and hopefully you can join us on the 21st of March. All the information will be the same except for the date.  Cancel your room before Thursday as Arizona Charlies I just found out has a prior to 48hr cancellation policy. Also I found out the rates are higher for that weekend.

Sorry for the inconvenience but I don't think anyone wants to ride in lousy weather.

Dave

There is a boat/car show in Needles this Fri/Sat and I am gonna watch the weather carefully and see if it will clear.

We had 0.6 inches of rain at our place in Apple Valley Sun night into Mon. That is a decent amount for the desert.

By the way, for those who have not been out in the desert recently, it is really green. We should have beautiful flowers all over in the next month or so.

The ride cancellation is great news, it gives us another chance to get together with you all. OK,  I'm a little sad that everyone's plans got screwed up   Cry

I did go on my ride on Friday and did the Needles hot boat/hot rod show on Saturday. The show was great. Kind of neat because Jack Smith park has a launch ramp and a number of the boat show guys ran their boats on the river. I stayed at the Avi, which I like. The weather riding home Saturday was pretty windy, but I had no rain. If we had been riding back from Vegas on Sunday, I am sure we would have had a wet ride. See ya all in a few weeks.
