I love the color black when it comes to motorcycles.  That being said I'm sure anyone that has owned any vehicle in black would concur that it takes a helluva lot of time to keep them  show room fresh. For many years I've searched for the perfect system for keeping that scratch free look.  I've finally found a system that blows everything else away.  Turtle Wax has a new product or new to me that works better than anything I've ever tried.  It's called "Jet Black" and is truly amazing.  My new F6c is black and after talking to a dealer he told me Honda didn't clear coat these bikes and I believe that to have some merit.  The paint is extremely susceptible to scratches.  This product brings the life back to the finish with minimal effort.  Hope this helps someone who likes black bikes as much as I do.

Ps.  The new cobra pipes sound better and better with every ride.

Started using it about 6 months ago on my 98 Fast Black tourer. It is in deed a great product. My Lady loves the way it makes her look. Combine that with a good micro cloth. WoW !

the new bikes are absolutely base/clear paint. however it is a water based system, and some colors do not seem quite as durable as others. i have two red 2014 valkyries', and the paint is flawless.

When I look up Turtle Wax Jet Black, I find only a tire shine kit. Is there another one for paint?

I've been using it too, and I like it !!
I bought it in a kit.
For Goldwing Valkyries with black paint only, you know ...the fast ones with trick brakes !!
