Haven't been to Praire Du Chein in many years. The thing I remember most (besides it's beauty) is the GUN/LIQUOR store with a huge stuffed polar bear in it. When I worked on a pattle wheeler we would stop there and the crew really looked forward to getting off and going into town. Wish I could make it.

I went last year for the first time.  GREAT RIDE!  Friday and Saturday riding some of the best roads around.  Great eating.  Have my reservations already made.  792 miles one way for me!

Would not miss it!

I try not to schedule the same weekend as the CBR ride but with Fishing Tournaments going  on later in the month trying to get motels is impossible so I had to get this weekend.  Try not to compete so folks can do both including myself but didn't work out this year.

I am soooo ready to go on this great ride-in.  Hope I can get wheat harvest finished here in ND.  About 3 weeks behind schedule.  Stays cool and damp.  Rain forecast next mon- wed.  Cry  Got my fingers crossed.
Go if you can.  Had a GREAT time last year.
