Thanks to all that came to our 8th Annual St.Ignace weekend...first post is called the RIDE
We started out on a cool Michigan morning in the lower 60* area...

...We had a good size group show up for the ride up..about 45 folks from all over the country

..off we went ...

Rode up bout 60 miles on some highway and some back roads it we stopped along the shores of Saginaw Bay

Took off again up US-23for another 60 or so miles till we stopped for lunch at the Red Rooster where they closed the restaurant and was waiting for us with open arms..

Time to head up the coast and leave the traffic behind...

made it to the Mackinaw Bridge and the wind was a blowing

But we where watched over pretty close by our MSP

Got to the America's Best Value Inn and was met by alot of folks that where waiting for our arrival

...Day One...

Day 2
Day 2 ...St.Ignace weekend the RIDE...
Started out before noon for a nice short 150 mile ride...

...Went up US-2 for a short time before heading inland

Rode inland from the top of Lake Michigan...heading toward Lake Superior

Stopped in Trout Lake for a short break

Before heading back on the road North to Superior...

We came out of the woods ...right to the shores and the Curly Lewis Hwy.

We had to stop at one of our favorite Lighthouses

The Lake was just what Lake Superior is supposed to be cool and wild

back on the road to the Soo

We got to see a couple of Lake freighters come through the locks

From there it was a nice 55 mile ride back to St. Ignace...

Well things this year started out a little slow for us...maybe it was because of the weather?...then again maybe not...

Soon strange things started happening

Weird looking creatures started to appear

I thought may be I was coming down with swine flu

the more I looked around the more things started looking not quite right .people I have known for awhile where starting looking different

oh no...that was when I realized we are in St. Ignace with the Michigan Misguided and its Saturday ...quick clear the streets its happening again...

The sun is setting ...lock your doors

Save yourselves before its to late..

Then it happened...I couldn't stop it...I can't even describe it...I don't even want to think about it...too late...the image is burned into my brain forever...will I ever be able to sleep again without this haunting image?

It came out of nowhere ...but seemed to be everywhere at once...oh the humanity

It attacked from all sides and was relentless in its pursuits

It could never be satisfied

oh no...it found HOT GLUES ...hog!

I never knew for sure where it went but it seemed to just disappear for awhile

Now remember folks this is just in good fun

Well I think this year we may have set a new standard for not only our Michigan Club but our Club as a whole...we had a great time and good clean fun that is what we are all about

The party went on long into the night

But after riding for over 400miles of Michigan's roads we deserve a good party

I can't forget to post a picture of our sock ladies...

My goodness what will we do next year?

RTaz, ya'll left an impression on the bearded one from way way South of the border in Texas......

Him & his sweet Bride were still discussing it in Minnesota this weekend......

Also his Hog developed a leak in the American Legion Parking lot.  They fixed it in short order however.      Of course, I didn't have my camera for proof.   fb might have gotten one for damaging evidence...........

Nice ride, thanks for sharing the photos; looks like you guys had a great time.  HOWEVER (and I am speaking only for myself), I think my life would still be complete if I had not seen a couple of those photos!

Oh the humanity is right...What has been seen, can never be unseen!

Doc it is funny that you happen to mention Mardi Gras. 10 years ago I was in New Orleans for Mardi Gras and "unfortunately" saw some 300 lb dude wearing nothing but a pair of women's pantyhose.  It has been 10 years and I am still trying to rid myself of that "unholy sight"!

I still choose to believe what Steamer said, maybe the guy I saw in NO was visiting from Nancy Pelosi's neck of the woods!  Anyway all in fun...it would be a pretty boring world if everyone was like me......

For the love of God and humanity, please...no, no, no!!! Unless of course the outfits are being modeled by the Nordic beauties as in the following photo.  Grin Smiley

No worries, James.  Scott has provided a solution.  If you see something and immediately realize that you didn't want to see it, quickly move up to the upper right corner of the page and click the "unread" button.   Grin

You do have to move quickly, but, hey, it works for me.   uglystupid2

Yep.... ya gotta be secure in yer manhood to hang with these folks.... some may not be able to pull it off.... but FB and I look good in our matching pink jackets Cheesy
The real scary thing is.... Slick Willy left "Man Lipstick" on my jacket when he was cavorting on the harley... Ack... it won't wash off.... Shocked
LOL
And remember.... when it's Late at Night and someone comes out of their room to tell us to hold it down... they are trying to sleep....
The correct answer is: " Be vewy vewy quiet..... we're dwinking whisky out hewre".
