The fog lights on the IS project have not worked.  Tonight I tested and I have juice at the switch, but do not have juice at the lights when switch is on.  Tested continuity on switch and it is working fine.  I can hear the relay click when I hit the switch and have power going to the relay.  But no power going to the lights. I do have continuity going from the relay plug to the lights.  I feel like I have hit everything and that the only thing it can be is the relay.  Is there some method to function test the relay other than what I have already done?
This is the relay.

Mine did not have the numbers so I was not sure, but I found a wiki answer about it.  I checked it and the relay functions properly.  I found that my hot wire for the lights going into the relay does not have juice on it.  Are the fog lights usually wired into some other relay that only works when in gear or on low beams or something like that, or are they usually on just as soon as you turn the key on?

I believe they are OEM aftermarket, so it would depend on the installer.

Only way to do it is to follow the hot lead to it's source.

Factory instruction call for the trigger wire (to activate the relay) to be plugged into the two accessory plugs under the right side cover. The hot that powers the lights is connected directly to the battery and each light is grounded to the frame inside the pods. There are not any other switches or relays so it should not matter if you have the high beam, in gear, or any other factors. Just turn the key.  The 5amp fuse for the accessory plugs must be installed and good.  (If your relay is clicking, the 5amp fuse is ok.)  The fuse for the lights is an inline 10amp fuse located near the relay. You may have to remove some of the vinyl tape to reveal this inline fuse holder and to free it from the wiring harness.  Sound to me like the 10amp inline fuse is blown.

Thanks guys.  I was hoping not to have to unravel that big ass mess under there, but.......  Looks like not many other options.  As long as I can do it without removing the airbox and center cover me and the bike may both survive.

FOUND IT!!!!  BIGBAD hit it on the head.  Of course, the guy that wired up the fog lights wrapped it all in about 2 rolls of electrical tape and had it tucked up tight under the center cover.  A real bitch to get to, but it was bad and once replaced, YAY!!  fog lights!!

Thanks Big Bad.  That was what it was.  Now to find a replacement switch.  The dang switch will not click on an off properly.

Glad to hear you found it and got them working. cooldude  I too had problems with the switch so I replaced it with a handle bar switch. Then I removed the pod switch, made the hole round and put a cigarette lighter/accessory port in that spot.

That looks really nice.  I spent over an hour searching the internet last night trying to find the same switch with no luck.  I have the switch soaking in electrical cleaner now.  We will see how it goes.  Yours looks really nice!!  I may do it next winter, but right now it is riding time so any other changes will have to wait.  I want to put some miles on this girl now that she is together!

I looked into this when I thought about replacing my switch. Found this switch

http://www.mcmaster.com/#standard-push-button-pilot-switches/=wgr78e

but I just added a time delay relay and wired mine to come on about 15 sec after I turn the key on.

A time delayed relay? Never heard of one. Sounds interesting.

used one similar to this
http://www.12voltplanet.co.uk/adjustable-delay-timer-relay-delay-on-or-off-12v-10a.html

you can set them for delay on or delay off.

the I/S headlight goes through a relay to help prevent the start switch from burning up. I used a time delay relay for the headlights and one for the fog lights which gives me time to get the bike started and the alt to begin charging before the lights come on.  Got the relays free  from work and had to find something to use them for. Mounted a switch under the seat to disable the fog light relay if I want to cut them off.
