These are under the right side cover in the big bundle.  I can't find anything that should plug into them.  Colors look like one just plain black and one just plain red.  I was guessing some auxiliary wiring access point, but wasn't sure if it was designed for something specific.

Hey DP...See seems like that is the accessory wires...for the Standard/Tourer.  The Interstates appear to have a different color scheme.

For anything electrical related on our bikes, check out Rattlebar's schematics.  They are MUCH cleaner and easier to read than the ones in the back on the service manual.

Valkyrie Schematics

Sheet S1 shows the Accessory wiring.

It's not the accessory wiring. I found the same wires on my IS and eventually saw what they were for on the forum awhile back but now I can't recall it. uglystupid2  Do you have a CB on your bike? Somebody will let us I'm sure.

AAHH...that was the trigger I need...  Grin  Those wires on the interstate are for the passenger push to talk button.  This allows for the passenger to talk on the CB radio.

DP...you can try...but it won't work... LOL  She will just hit you around the head and shoulders until you listen to her.

Check out this site for manuals on the CB Radios... http://valkyrienorway.com/download.html

To not use the intercom, you just have to turn the intercom volume down all the way.  It is always on otherwise...so chose your words carefully...or you could get more thrashing around the head and shoulders.  Grin

Thanks for the memories Jess!  Those were the best shows when SNL had these characters and skits on!
