Has anyone joined the darkside with Corbin Beetle Bags yet? I went out this morning to survey the situation and make sure I had the bolts I needed before I cut the nut cage and didn't find what I expected. The bags mount with studs through the original rails, but it is 5/16 on the long end, and 3/8 on the short end and I'm not sure how I can replicate that with a carriage bolt. I can't make the hole in the bags smaller, and I don't really want to drill a bigger hole through the rails. I slid the bare tire not mounted yet (General Altimax HP 205-60-16) under the fender and lifted it up as if the suspension bottomed out and it is definitely touching the cages. Will it get wider or narrower once it is on the rim? Maybe this is a simple solution but I am getting home from a 12 hour nightshift and my brain might not be firing on all cylinders.
Thanks for any info.

Those of us with quick-drop bag kits such as Rattlebars used to sell are running with stud setups.
Remove the nut cages. If the stud sticks through the retaining nut on the inside of the fender, cut the stud shorter.
The tire you have will likely not rub.
