Bikers don't need shrinks!

Spring has sprung. What are the top 3 rides on Texas Valkyrie rider's minds?

The Ride for Kids was sneaking up on me, but I got a reminder and a swift kick to get me going. It continues to be the best charity ride going (IMO) and they will again be giving away a new Goldwing drawn from tickets of those who raise some money for these sick kids. We've had Valk riders from as far away as Oklahoma, New Mexico and Louisiana attend and I can pretty much always count on seeing a Red Diamond from Beaumont.  Come on out and join the crowd for a great time helping some kids who need the help.

And, if you're a shotgunner/sportsman, here is another Houston area charity event for Friday, the 24th http://www.charityclays.org/home.html It's a memorial fundraiser honoring my young cousin and his friend.

I think several are coming down, but I'm coming down Friday to go to the charity clay shoot in west Houston and then will head to humble on Saturday. Hope to see you on that Sunday.

Weather forecast is looking pretty good for Sunday, but I may be shooting in the wet on Friday. See you guys in Humble.

Will a shotgun fit in the sidecar?  Hmmmmmmm.    Maybe so.
I may volunteer this year here in Houston.  I can't decide if it would be better for me to lead a ride to Humble or volunteer to help register and put on arm bands.

    We shall see.

I was hoping to squeeze it in, but if the weather forecast holds, Sunday might be the next day dry enough to mow...   Sad

Couldn't remember my password for the group.  Guess I will just be a lone wolf.  Smiley

Ok ... I'm late, but ... I see an address at the link.  Can anyone tell me what time the event begins.  I'm a possible attendee and I will handle registration, etc on site if I am able to get my Valk put back together this afternoon.

Registration opens at 8:00AM and closes at 9:30AM, there's usually breakfast food/donuts on hand for participants. Many bikes to see before the ride begins.
