JP, Sherry and I will be up to Zephyrhills both Saturday and Sunday and available. We were hoping for breakfast at maws vittles in bville.

Hey, all. I believe there's been a slight change in plan for Saturday ride. Knowing Jerry & Sherry's love for Carol's Cafe in Mulberry, and that this might be the last time this riding season that we get to meet them there, we decided offline to meet them and JP there at 10:00 am. Carol's is located at 113 W Badcock Blvd, Mulberry, FL 33860. Here's a map: https://goo.gl/maps/gUo0nAlso, Jerry mentioned that anyone that wished to ride with them from Zephyrhills to Mulberry can meet at their place at 9:00 am. (Jerry, please correct me if I'm wrong!). Hope to see y'all for some good food and riding on Saturday. |

We realize the time constraints of Todd and Pennie and their big move, not that we APPROVE  of this move. So instead of going north we will go south to spend some quality time with them. Please if anyone wants to meet up with us at the cottage at 9am, we know some back roads down to Mulberry. |

Jerry, you notice that I said "this riding season." Meaning that we intend to trailer the bike down to FL every time we visit family and ride with you guys. See ya Saturday!

Wish I get my Saturdays back but won't be able to during schedule change, however I requested Saturday of the pizza party at jerry and sherrys cottage in zephyrhill, hope you guys enjoy the ride, and to Todd and penny i can't say goodbye cuz will definitely see you again sometime soon and good luck on the big move to the sweet carolina.

Larue - we hope u get that Sat off as well. As for the count so far is 12 and Carols Cafe not being a large restaurant Sherry let Carol know of our group. We will let her know when we are all present and accounted for and we can talk Valk until she has us set up. Todd and Pennie can sit by themselves --- I mean at the head of the table --- so we can hurl napkin wads and straw wrappers at them!! Carols Cafe is where we met Todd and Pennie. New to John Paul, Sherry and I at the time were two Valks. I thought at the time we were the only Valkyrie riders in the world. Then this couple at the resturant kept looking at us, Sherry noticed. When we went to leave they came out and introduced themselves to us and Todd said he had an I/S just like mine but they were in a cage that day. They prodded us to join in with the Leesburg ride where close to 30 Valks met at the Perkins outside the city. John Paul and I saw so many Valks that morning we were in shock. JP said he did not know where to look. Sooooo if you want to blame anyone for us being around now you know and can hurl extra things at them at the table. Todd and Pennie will not be able to make the Pizza party due to a moving run that weekend so if anyone else wants to join in give us a +2 or whatever.

Jerry, you're gonna have us tearing up if you keep talking like that.  For those of you who don't know, the prequel to Jerry's "how we met" story is that the week or so before, just a couple months after buying our Valk and also feeling all alone, we were riding north and passed a gas station with like 5 Valks there. We immediately turned around and met Grumpy, Tundra, Murphy, BillyBoy and maybe a couple others whose names escape me (sorry, but for some reason my memory has been slipping ever since I started reading the AARP newsletter). We joined them on a ride and thereafter fell in with a bunch of folks whom we look forward to seeing every weekend. And that's more than we can say about some of our family!!  |
