Guys, I've been an Ultimate Seat owner on both my 2007 VTX 1300C and my 2002 Valkyrie Standard. I loved the ride on both of them and was looking forward to having a brand new Ultimate Seat on my 2014 Valk.

So when Mike posted the photo of his bike with the Ultimate Seat prototype (and the really cool looking Corbin saddle bags) I was excited to look for availability of the seat for my own purchase. But when I looked on the Ultimate Seat WEB page it's not there. So I called them and after introducing my self and explaining what I was looking for the lady on the phone at Ultimate gave me Des' email address and said that I should ask him directly what was up with it. So I emailed Des and got the following answer;

Quote
Hi Les, I borrowed Mikes bike to make the patterns and molds but have put it on hold because of very low bike sales of the new model.
We will look at the numbers again next Spring to see if we can make it worthwhile.
Thanks
Des

Although I'm very disappointed, I'm very excited and can't wait to receive my new Corbin seat with a back rest. I will post my opinions once I receive it and get it broken in.

I was told in no uncertain terms, they will NOT be making a seat for the F6C Valkyrie.  He said it took them 3 months to make Michael and Connie's seats.

It seams that once they have a mold for the pan and a pattern for the vinyl it would be easy to make more.  It would be even easier if they would use the stock pan.

Oh well, Ultimate's loss is Corbin's gain.

You could always go with a RDL. Of course there is the waiting part with no seat as you'd have to send them your seat to be redone.
