I've always hated the look of the default theme on most message boards.  Those blue colors just didn't seem right for a motorcycle board.  I've also thought that one of the reasons some of the naysayers didn't like these new boards is because of the look.  Anyway, we now have a new look here.

If for some reason to just can't stand the look of this theme and want to go back to the default theme, this is what you do:

Click on Profile in the top menu.
In your profile, click on Look and Layout Preferences.
The first item is Current Theme.  Click Change to browse the available themes, and choose your preference.

I might or might not be adding more themes in the future.

Scott,

Thanks for all the hard work.  For what it's worth, and it's only one data point, but, I find it easier on the eyes to read darker text on a lighter background.  Thanks for the instructions on how to customize my view.

I agree with Dave. I like the new look, but if we could find a color scheme that the text is darker than the background it would be easier on the eyes. Thanks for the work.

I think that is the norm with anyone Dave.  I certainly prefer dark colors on a light background when reading text.  However this particular combination doesn't bother me too much.  I'll watch the numbers and see how many people switch back.

I really appreciate the feedback, and if anyone else has an opinion shout out....

I like it...I'm finding lately that I prefer darker backgrounds with text as I'm surrounded by flat-screens at work and the brightness is starting to annoy....I'm probably getting some sort of radiation...  Tongue

I like the look and color combination.

Thanks Scott for all the hard work.

I like this - I agree with not liking the "standard" look of other BBS.

If you go to BBR, all the new boards are black themed.

Thanks again Bro!

You are doing such a fine job, maybe we will double your salary AGAIN!!!!   How about that?

I think the black on white is too boring, but think the white on black a little difficult too.  I do like Dag's idea of the yellow and black.  I keep pondering what my Interstate would look like in the yellow/black configuration.......<ponder>.  Anyone ever see a picture of one?  Just curious.

You da man Scott! Anything you do is fine with me. Hey, how bout coming down to Hot Glues next April? If you want to break the trip you would be welcome to crash at my place in Plano and then make the run down to Houston. Raymond and Rhonda also consider yourselves invited. Kathy & are are getting our new house together and would love to open the doors to "old" friends! Sorry - had to take a cheap shot.
