Anyone know how to take a rear tire off a 02 VTX 1300, shaft drive? Riding bud prob popped a tube. Is it just like the Valk?

Essentially like your valk. I've change tires on both VTX  1300 and 1800. Sounds like your buddy has a laced wheel.

Yes. Cant find a leak on the tire but getting air thru the spokes. He hit a pothole this morning and he didn't think it was that big. So I think he has popped the tube.

I'd look for a solid wheel.  HATE spokes (and tubes).  There were a number of models, seems like a cast wheel would be available (C model).

Most def. It actually looked pretty good since dealer put a tire on 2 yrs ago before he bought it. As tight as the 4 bolts were It prob never been off but drive shaft looked good.

I sealed spokes on my 1300 and it worked great. No more tube needed.
