That's great to hear! I know that feeling because that's exactly how I felt when I first used mine. Very satisfying and it makes the hard work of making this happen worthwhile. Thanks for posting Kep!  Smiley

Not to hijack the post (but it is what I do best). Does synchronization naturally degrade over time. I would have loved to pick up one of BonS's meters but I've got a couple vacations coming up sucking up cash. Both of my bikes seem smooth to me but I wonder if happens over so many miles that I wouldn't notice it.

yes. vibrations, natural wear in linkage esp btwn carb banks, possible throttle blade wear hitting carb bore from out of sync carbs.
out of syc carbs results in less mpg and HP

I didn't intend to but demand has been greater than anticipated. So, I'm doing a second run of them after I fulfill my current orders. I may very well inquire about becoming a VRCC vendor so I will be a contributing member much like MarkT has done. Otherwise I don't want to be "selling" stuff on this forum without paying my dues. That said, I'm still adding customers to my list.

Mine arrived a couple days ago.  Looks great and I can't wait to finish my remodeling job so I can give it a try.  Watched the video and looks like it will be simple enough that even I can do it.

I got mine a week or so ago, and got around to doing a sync this morning. This little gizmo really makes it an easy process. I was surprised how far out most of my carbs were, and am very pleased with the purchase.

So ... mine landed today ... much sooner than expected even.  It'll be a bit before I can make use of it, but it's even more incentive to get after the desmog I need to complete.

Without using it, I can still comment that I am impressed.  It is well put together and has the feel of a top quality bit of kit.

Thanks Bon.

Bon, are you sending out Gen2s yet?  Got a picture?

I've got the Gen1 and am very impressed.  For those of you that haven't used it yet and are impressed with just the very clean make-up of the unit, the depth of your impression has only begun.  When you use the digital unit it adds several levels of accuracy to carb syncing that just weren't there before.  Very nice piece of work!

Thanks Willow, this is the latest model DS1+. It sports version 2 software that gleans RPM information from the vacuum pulses and displays them alongside the peak vacuum readings. The only "control" is the on/off switch. No reset button or any other controls are necessary. It runs off of a 9-volt battery and gives 4-5 hours battery life. I can upgrade any of my previous DS1's with this software and will do so free of charge. I'll be at InZane and will do it on-the-spot for anyone that brings their Digi Sync with them.

Thanks for quick turm on my order BonS. Receievd mine in last couple of weeks. Still waiting to get the bike out, can't believe I am this late getting it out. Latest for me since I bought it 16 years ago.

I only opened the box and took a quick look, so I was wondering, are the units you shipped in the last few weeks the new version you posted?

Thanks again, looking forward to using the unit.

The Valkyrie tach on my interstate is pretty good. It's just hard to get as good an idle reading on a tach that is scaled to display 9K rpm.

When your Digi Sync turn on it shows the software Version. All the transparent top models were shipped with Version 1.x.  Only Version 2.x has the RPM function and it was just introduced with the new enclosure.

As said previously, I will upgrade your software free of charge.

All that go out now and in the future are the new one with the new software. I think it turned out,  well, snazzy! And it's more functional!

Hey Bon S
I have been using the electronic Twin Max. how does your compare?  The TM has a meter that is always bouncing around so u need to take an average. Does your vacuum numbers stay steady?
please pm me the price and how I can get one if I decide. doing all six carbs at a time will be great, won't have to worry about the rad fan kicking on and off affecting the readings of the TM.
Thanks

I can answer that for you.  They are steady.  There is a little up and down by one or two numbers over time but his digital display has certainly dealt with the bounce.
