Take the right side out, see if it will fit in the left side.

If so, go to ACE Hardware and buy a replacement.

Problem solved.

10x70 metric. 10mm shaft by 70mm long. most all 10mm bolts are either 1.25 or 1.5 thread pitch.

The 10mm is a 1.25 pitch, fine thread. The 8mm is also a 1.25 pitch which is a standard thread for an 8mm.

If the  left is out and you remove the right as well....POW that's when all the parts go out of alignment...WATCH IT

I have an Ace hdw here in town and abut 23 miles away a farm supply. Both have a really good selection of metric in a bright plating and a true chrome plating. OR you can see if your Honda dealer an get you what you need. Missing bolts on a Sunday and I'm at the hdw store.  2funny I've also heard that Home Depot and Lowes have some metric hdw. Hope this s of some help! RIDE SAFE.

I couldn't find them anywhere, local or online.  A few places pretend to offer them but when pressed, can't produce.

Anything that is long enough is a shoulder bolt which won't work in that forward position since there is threaded boss on the inside of the fender and that's where the shoulder would end up if you insert from the inside.

So, I used 3/8 (9.53 mm) steel rod and a 1.25 metric die to make studs.  Slow going, but successful.

Coat it well with antisieze and it won't rust in place.

Not if it is a saddlebag bolt. All it holds is the saddlebag.

You're right, my bad....I was thinking saddlebag mount bots which are the same as the fender rail bolts.....

hey Bighead:
I gotta question.. I know you have Jumbo Strong bags on your bike. I just got mine, but the bolts that I got don't fit into the front bolt hole on the fender rail, and the nut on the back is a different size/pitch.  Did you have to buy bolts or do any mods on the fender rail? My mounting bolts ( 4 ea) did not come with any nuts.

I believe we are talking about the forward fender/fender rail/saddlebag support bolt.

In 6 years I have never found those acorn nuts that Honda used on their motorcycles. Only regular chromed ones without that flared washer on the bottom. My ACE T had a few rusty ones, so I just removed them all and replaced with standard ones instead. Looked better than the rust.
