Hi
The dealer is quite pricy and doesn't have in stock. If I'm going to order any ways is there someone, or somewhere online to order them cheaper??
Thank's John a newbie
surprised a lot of online parts stores don't even show the Valkrie when I look up models

Just got off the phone with him, he was expecting to see Valkyrie listed but advised him they're listed as GL1500 with different subs at the end for the models. I got him on the Procaliber site so he now can look up stuff. Also told him regardless of the problem; starter clutch or hydrolock troubles, it involves pulling the engine and a lot of money if he lets a shop do it. Said he might be better off replacing the engine for less $$ than fixing the current one with well over 100k on it. No problem with a high mileage engine, just looking at the cash outlay comparison; fix or replace.

Don't see any such animal as a starter clutch on the Fische.

Yup, it's there, mounts on the back of the engine just above the clutch basket. Check section 18 in the shop manual.

John, if it were me I'd go for that engine link I sent you in a PM. Go get it with a trailer and save shipping. For the price of that engine, you can't fix yours. Seriously! John
