Was looking on Gainesville craiglist, and saw a nice looking standard with 25,593 mi. for $3,800. Just thought I would pass it on.

That's what I was thinking. The wheels don't appear to be the nice 2000 polished aluminum/clear coated wheels? Although the tank badge indicates model year 2000? Maybe just a "ruff" version?
Who knows, could be 125k, or maybe sat outside for 15 years ???
Then again you can't compare the condition of the average Valkyrie to those Valkyries lucky enough to have made it into our beloved VRCC, for they have been pampered, hand honed back to life.

Clean your glasses  Evil look at the pictures of the engine looks as it has never been cleaned look at the triple trees oxidized badly and forks too. Look at the bezel on the speedo looks pitted. Look at the picture of the engine about picture 7 or so and just look at everything around the engine pipes, engine hangers and such. I am sure a lot will clean up but if I were selling it I would get it as clean as possible and try to get a bit more $$
