Yeah...but don't worry.  At least you didn't suggest the next Inzane being in Ohio like I did.

So, does that make the 2010 model the last US made?

I read somewhere that Honda we reconsidering moving the production back to Japan, due to the current exchange rate of the Dollar to Yen. I see if I can relocate the article.

Yes Old News.

But the cool part is the workers suppose to not lose their Jobs. They get Re trained to work in the Honda car plant.

American Big Business however would Just pay the CEO More and Outsource. Nice to see Japan has a Heart...Kinda.

Actually the plant is not being shut down.  According to their press release, it was to be converted to building auto's.  Secondly the reason it was built in the first place was to get around the import duty that Hardley succeeded in getting Congress to pass on all bikes over 1200CC being imported into the US.  That is why only large bikes such as the 1800, Valkyrie and Goldwing were produced there.  This was done so Hardley would have a chance to compete in the "Open Market" against the Metric cruisers.  That import tax was dropped a few years back, not sure when, so there is little reason to make them in the US.

I remember that at last years home coming event at the plant, they gave away a Goldwing and I thought I read it was the last year for bike production at that plant and the last year the home coming event would be held.  I don't believe they had the event this year.
