I have a '97 Purple & White Std. and I am getting a pair of I/S pods and a Hoppe fairing painted next week.  I want them painted to match the white on the bike.  The code behind the left side cover appears to be only for the purple color.  I found on the ColorRite site this info....
http://www.colorrite.com/matrix-colors.cfm?CFID=1437183&CFTOKEN=78723870
Is the Pearl Glacier White the same on the Red & Whites as on the Purple & Whites?  And if so, will that be the code I give the painter?  I see where it has to be put over a base coat.  The painter said if I give him the code, he can mix the color.

Steve, I had bags painted to match my blue/ivory. All I did was take the bike to a  auto parts/paint store and they "shot" a picture of the paint with a camera like device. I took those codes to my painter (who buys the paint from them) and he mixed the paint in his shop. Colors are perfect. It was way easier and cheaper than trying to decifer the Honda paint codes.
