This won't be everyone's cup of tea I'm sure, it may not be anyone's cup of tea for that matter.  I grew up on the classics - Hendrix, Clapton, etc. but somewhere along the way I developed an liking for celtic music.  While looking for something else, I ran across this very long song by Loreena McKinnett.  Its the Alfred Noyes poem, the Highwayman set to music.  How is this Valkyrie related - well, I ride mine on the highway.
Enjoy

I grew up on old country, bluegrass, and classic rock. I, like you, am a huge fan of Celtic music. I especially like progressive bands in the genre of Celtic Rock.  Check out Brother, Seven Nations, Needfire, Rathkeltaire, and Clandestine

I think it is a sign that the aging process is in full bloom. Pretty soon you will be wearing funny hats with big things hanging off of it, lookin a little like Medussa.

Get back to listening to some 60-70 year old Rockers and all this mind mush will pass.....
