Anyone want to weigh in on favorites? I am looking at Clearshield and Cee Bailey. They both offer bolt on Acrylic replacements. I would like to find a Polycarbonate bolt on, any suggestions?

IHO   It's the factory tourer with factory mounts.... and if your just replacing the shield then I would go with the clearview ...

I am happy with the Mempis Shade I put on the Standard. I did have to move the blinkers down from stock to get the right angle of the shield. Looks good, only 75 bucs for replacement glass. The initially hardware will run just over 200.  But stock is best.

OEM shield on OEM hardware is best but Clearview shield on OEM hardware for replacement for a Standard of Tourer.  On the Interstate I replaced the OEM with a tall Tulsa replacement.  It works much better for the passenger although you have to look through the shield.  Only problem I have with the Tulsa is on cold mornings when the engine heat fogs the shield until it warms up a bit.

I have a Cee Bailey's and it is very well made much thicker than stock was also. This Is on my IS not a standard or tourer.

If you already have the OE hardware (expensive), seems a shame not to reuse it, but I do not know of polycarb shield replacement for OE hardware (except OE, if they are still available, and expensive if so).  Clearview and Cee Bailey both do replacement thick plastic in Lucite, which is plenty safe, and easier to polish out scratches than polycarb.  

F4 Customs is great polycarb, but only appears to sell for Interstate (call and ask about tourer).

Between Clearview and Cee Bailey, I think Clearview offers more choices (size and tint and vents).  Pick what you want.  One may take longer to get than the other so if you are in a hurry, call and ask. Personally, I think any tint other than a very subdued one for direct sun or night headlights is a mistake.

If you want polycarb, and don't mind buying new hardware too, try a National Cycle Switchblade. (Used OE hardware goes for very decent prices, and is usually in demand if in good condition)

I have a Clearview on my I/S. 2" shorter than stock, I just look over it, and 5 inches wider. Very nice. It bolted right on and clear as glass.

Hey guys thanks for the feedback!

I was a hoping to get another F4 Poly but they don't make them anymore. Seems that the available Poly's require new mounts. I really want to stick with the stock mounts as the finish is excellent and all I have to do is screw it on, but then again, Poly is the way to go. I think I will go into mull it over mode and mull it over.
