I can't believe it's only a month (corrected: week) from now.

I need to get that rear CT mounted and some miles on it before heading out on this 1200 mile trip.

Umm. Week? I hope you meant month. Or are you making a long trip out of it too?

I'm starting on the 3rd and not going back to work till the 23rd... of June. Smiley

I will be going a different route, if I go...

I am writing my 401K tomorrow and cashing it out for this.

I was diagnosed with carcinoid cancer January 6th, surgery was February 13th, have tumors still in my liver, mom died March 29th, and my company of 10 years laid me off in a buy-out/downsize April 30th.

At 54 with cancer & no degree or certs this computer guy's job ops are looking slim.

So, I say, I might as well live a little!

WOW David, that is a lot of weight on your shoulders. I cant imagine going through anything like you are having to endure.
I sure hope that you get to come out to Inzane, I would like to meet you. Keep us posted.

Ouch! How can you "top" that? I spent 12 years getting to another permanent job. Not the same health issues as you. My prayers to you man!

I like your attitude thou, live a little. I got into riding so I could do just that. Was tired of always saying, "I wish", and started doing instead.

I've gotta say that my bike has been the best investment in mental health I could have made. My lead at work knows when I've ridden into work because my attitude is improved.

David - Still ok with me swinging by on my way out to Boise next week? I'll probably only be able to spend an hour or so but I do want to stop by and put a face to the name/handle and chat.
