Hello folks,
Thought I would finally take some time and introduce myself. Been lurking for about a month or so. past rides have mostly been gl1500s. started restoring naked gl1100's for retirement projects and fell in love w/ '99 valk. I hope this cures my Bigger Better Bike Blues I've lived with for 45 years. (tee-hee).  This one has  bags and no fairing, a windshield w/ wind wings, and is really loud ! ?  Has avon 1/2 gone front tire, and new dunlap e-3 on back. I don't know about stock exhaust what it looks and sounds like.  Appreciate your input. and how in the heck can I get smiley's to work on windows 7. Thanks,Wayne M. (gwwaynm)

Sounds like you have a Tourer model.

Putting some pictures of it up on Flicker or one of the other image hosting websites and then pasting the image link in this message with an
Code:
just in front of it and an
Code:
[/img]
just after it will put the picture in your email post. You need one of each for each picture you want to post.

So it'll look like this example in the box you're composing your message in
Code:
[img]http://www.fakeimagesite.com/somefoldername/imageofmypurdybike.jpg[/img]

Once we can see your bike we might be able to help identify the changes that have been made and suggest how you might want to proceed.

Hope this helps and hope I didn't come off sounding condescending. Just trying to help.

My 98 Tourer with stock shield, air wings (not visable in this pic) and the exhaust has the piggies cut.

It's a 8 year old pic things have changed a little.

Your loud might not be loud to others.

I use  Photostash found near the top of this page for posting pictures..
