electrical light gremlines

I just got my 1997 Valkrie trike running. I like it. Now I have light issues. When I turn my blinkers on my running lights turn off and no blinkers. Sound like a short. Also when I turn my high beams on I loose all head lights. It could be a bulb but I'm thinking more wiring issues.
I leave on holidays Saturday so I guess it will have to weight until I get home.

Never overlook grounds!
Faulty or partial ground can create all kinds of gremlins like that.

thanks No blow fuses and light come back on when
I turn blinkers off. It does seem like a ground but nothing obvious. Will take more time.

Go for the easy things first...check your bulbs...
The front signals/running lights work a little differently than you probably think. When the turn signal is turned on, the running light actually turns off, then the signal blinks. When you turn off the signal, the running light comes back on. Chances are...your turn portion of your bulb is burned out. That bulb is a 1157 type bulb.
On the headlight, could be the same thing...burnt high beam...
If replacing the bulbs don't work...then look for other issues.
