I know this topic is old, but I was wondering why Honda wouldn't have a brake cylinder from another, newer model that would be identical. I feel the "parts listings" will become obsolete before the parts are actually obsolete. I believe Honda seems to reutilize components from one model to the next, standardization in manufacturing makes it cheaper than engineering a whole new bike down to every part. Saves on tooling in the factory, immensely.
Here's a poke.... That's why HARLEY-DAVIDSONS all look alike and are tinker toys, haven't changed their tooling in years!
