To be good, and to do good, is all we have to do.

I have done some looking for a self contained handlebar kit for the Valkyrie. I like the clean look of no cables, but haven't been able to find anything.

Has anyone done this? If so please show some pictures and provide some info on parts.

Thank you.

This shot was taken quite a few years ago, and those are aftermarket 1.25" bars. The bars are almost an exact copy of the Valk OEM bars but I wanted the beefy look. I also ran the wiring inside to clean it up. It's not a huge job but does take some patience since you have to remove all the wires from the two  9-pin connectors in the headlight bucket. I had a couple that wouldn't come out so cut them and resoldered later. Then remove the outer black cover from the wire loom and wrap it with elec. tape or similar. Makes a smaller bundle that way. You will need to drill/create an oblong hole on the bottom in the center for the wires to exit. When you run the wires, get some flexible wire like used for picture hanging, run it up from the bottom to where the controls are and wrap it around the end of the bundle to pull it through. Just before you start pulling it through, spray the bundle real good with ordinary rubbing alcohol. Makes it real slick and evaporates without leaving any residue. I got my bars as factory seconds from Wild 1  in California.
