I searched the board but could not find the answer.

I have a 1999 IS. It has a one-piece seat, not sure if it is a corbin, mustang, or other kind.

I want to remove the seat to run direct power for my Stebel horns in the pods. The key will release the front of the seat. The pillion part is pretty well stuck down. I can feel 4 rubber feet between the passenger seat and the fender but no bolt heads. How do I get the passenger seat loose? Am I going to have to drop the rear wheel to access the bolts for the back half of the seat? Or just pull really hard?

No bolts on the stock seat. I usually turn key and pull nose of seat up to unlock. Then slide seat an inch or two towards tank and pull up. There is a tooth type piece on bottom of seat about where the rise is between front and back passenger. Then also at back of seat by trunk a metal tooth type that slides into rear bracket. Which is visible in your picture. My seat is a pita to remove and install. Hope I helped.
