East Texas Valkyrie Riders (Tyler / Longview area)

Greetings!

Just curious how many Valkyrie owners reside in East Texas and whether any are interested in a "bike night" type gathering.

I recently rescued, from certain doom, a 1997 Tourer, w/ 52K miles. It's been a labor of love trying to get her running well again and, due to neglect from the previous owners, get her cleaned up enough to ride it during daylight hours (LOL). She still needs LOTS of TLC.

This is my second Valk. I owned a '97 Purple/White Standard from 1999-2006. I haven't been in the position to purchase another one until running into this "rescue" bike.

Let's start a dialog about meeting up some afternoon/evening and have a local gathering of the Valks.
