The looks like the Sears big red. I think I paid around $130. I keep the bike on the lift all the time. Unloads the springs.

I don't know if this is the "right lift", but it does the job.

Well obviously it can pick up a Valkyrie.  But my guess is it needs an adapter like the one that you can build out of wood --see link on the shoptalk page.  I just went down to Harbor freight and got theirs (also 1500 pounds) for 99 bucks.

Larin.  Yep, I have had that one from almost the beginning of Valkyrie ownership...year 2000.  I use it with the Spoonland adapter.

I do like this blue one though.  Looks a little more practical for getting underneath the bike as most of the lift is out of the way.

And very envious of the yellow one.

That's a good one if you want to hang your Valk on the wall for the winter.  Roll Eyes

The HF and Larin lifts are made in China. They use mild steel which is soft and flexes a lot under a load. Some guys on the Wing board have had bolts break and had to replace them. I have a lift no longer made but uses cold rolled steel and lifts both my Tourer and 05 Wing with no problems. J&S and Pitbull make the only lifts I would use now. Craftsman has a $200 aluminum lift that I used once. It was impressive and didnt flex.
